Wednesday and Saturday

Get rid of the daily routine of traffic and restaurants, to enjoy a countryside walk along the south east of Gozo, a typical Gozitan picnic lunch and approximately 3 hrs jeep tour using most of the roads in the country side.

Starting with the walking part from Mgarr Harbour will take you ‘of the beaten track’ along the beautiful rocky sea side and through the fields, with time to admire the typical Mediterranean landscape with it’s rocky shoreline and dwarf vegetation. Carob and fig trees, oleander, tamarisk, fennel & thyme are found along the paths. In summer we stop for a swim in one of the beautiful bays.

Around 13.00 hrs Picnic lunch on the beach or in the country side offering a selection of (Gozo Ftira) which is similar to a pizza but still being baked in the old bakeries using wood for the oven.

Around 14.00 hrs the drivers and the guide will take you with the jeeps to visit the following places:

1. Simar Valley
2. Ramla Valley
3. Calypso Cave
4. Ggantija Temples (entrance fee not included)
5. Marsalforn Bay
6. The Salt pans
7. The Azure window
8. The Inland Sea
9. Victoria, The Capital City
10. The Citadel

Price includes: English / German speaking Guide, Transport from / to accommodation, Ferry tickets, Lunch with a selection of Gozo Ftira, wine water, tea or coffee, and fresh fruits.
